Controls Engineer

Job Description Responsibilities: Develop industrial PLC control solutions to meet customer-specified requirements. Select suitable system hardware such as PLCs, HMIs, and other industrial electronics. PLC programming using primarily Rockwell Automation platforms (knowledge of other PLC platforms such as Siemens or Beckhoff is a plus). Develop operator HMI screens for customer specific requirements (FactoryTalk View ME and SE). Utilize control network technology such as Rockwell EtherNet I/P, Siemens Profinet, Ethernet and client-server database connectivity. Design project specific control panels, A.C. And D.C. Power distribution for control systems (480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC circuits), operator control desk Client-out, and wiring schematics. Regular reporting on assigned projects (execution progress, planning, cost and profitability). Perform in-house platform tests. Commissioning of control systems at customer sites.
