Description
This position performs a variety of mechanical/electrical engineering related functions in support of the design and application of pump and pumping accessories. This will include a range of engineering duties from calculations, CAD drafting, testing and other similar technical functions.
Duties and responsibilities
+ To perform basic calculations to support the application of pumps sold. This would include plotting of performance curves, power load calculations, system curve calculations and plotting, bearing life calculations, etc.
+ Daily support of sales by answering applications questions with inside sales team, outside sales team, distributors and end users.
+ Testing and reporting of pumps and pump products to define their measured performance.
