The role of the Controls Technician is a maintenance-level position focused on commissioning and troubleshooting control systems for industrial automation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Commission control systems for industrial automation.
+ Troubleshoot control systems to ensure efficient operation.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Expertise in troubleshooting electrical systems.
+ Familiarity with various PLC platforms.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
+ Understanding of electric motors and drives.
+ Comfort with working on high voltage 3-phase power systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.
