Position Summary
:
Assists and advises on automation projects built by outside automation suppliers including conceptual design work, equipment specification, project management, factory acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning/debug
Position Responsibilities:
Provide automation and process control support for operations at 24/7 production plants.Identify potential process improvement projects, design and develop SCADA & PLC programs to address them properly.Capable of performing work as an electrician (e.g. wiring, electrical component installation).Works with the Engineering staff to develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods.Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding automation and process control capabilities.Assists with developing product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Works with the Maintenance Departme...
