Controls Validation Engineer - Powertrain Systems Testing

The Controls Validation Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of advanced electrified powertrain systems. Operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, this position focuses on validating propulsion control software, isolating issues, and guaranteeing robust functionality across high-voltage charging systems and other powertrain systems. Responsible for developing Design Verification Plans (DVPs) for propulsion system functional requirements, conducting vehicle and bench testing, determining appropriate test environments, performing issue pre-analysis, and identifying critical edge-case maneuvers to ensure robust powertrain performance and reliability.
