Conveyancer

A well-established high street law firm in the Oldham area is seeking an experienced residential conveyancer to join a stable and self-sufficient conveyancing department. This role is initially covering maternity leave starting in May, but is intended as a permanent hire, with a clear opportunity to build and retain a long-term caseload.

The role is fully office-based and would suit someone who enjoys handling matters from start to finish rather than working in a high-volume, factory-style environment.

The role:

• Full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
• Current caseload circa 100 files
• Mix of work including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, new builds, shared ownership and transfers of equity
• Strong focus on title checking and quality of work
