Role Overview bsport is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to take ownership of our operations and act as the central point of contact for all department heads. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to drive operational excellence, optimize budgets, and align our product roadmap with go‑to‑market priorities—ensuring that every function is set up to deliver impact. Key Impact Shape & scale operations: lead, coach, and grow a multicultural, cross‑regional team while implementing processes, tools, and best practices for scalable growth. Strategic alignment: partner with Product, Data, Tech, Sales, and CSM to ensure market insights and customer needs are reflected in product strategy. Financial stewardship: own budget optimization across departments, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize output and growth. Market & competitive intelligence: track industry trends, competitor moves and pricing strategies to identify opportunities and risks. Executive impact: prepare strategic insights, reports, and dashboards that inform Board and EXCOM decisions. Business planning: facilitate annual strategy cycles, business plans, and key strategic projects, ensuring topline and operational targets are met. Cross‑functional leadership: act as the operational right hand to the CEO, ensuring alignment and execution across all functions. Qualifications 6–8 years of experience in Operations, Chief of Staff, or Head of Ops roles, ideally within a fast‑scaling start‑up. Strong financial and business planning expertise, with a proven track record in budget management and optimization. Structured thinking and the ability to synthesize complex topics into actionable strategies. Excellent leadership and people‑management skills, with experience building and scaling teams. Clear, impactful communication, both verbally and in writing. Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in high‑pressure, fast‑moving environments. Strong go‑to‑market and product alignment knowledge—able to bridge strategic priorities with operational execution.
