Position Overview

The major responsibility of the position is to perform tasks as a cook in food preparation and cleaning food preparation area.


Experience

  • Prior experience and knowledge in coordinating food distribution.
  • Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Completion of a recognized course in Commercial Cooking and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a large-scale commercial cooking operation (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Safe Food Handling certification.
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to apply food preparation knowledge with attention to food safety requirements, safe work practices, and Health Regulations.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing staff.
