Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY Prepares and cooks a variety of grilled foods for patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with hospital dietary standards and food safety regulations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate grills and other cooking equipment to prepare menu items including burgers, chicken, fish, and vegetables
- Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Prepare special diet orders as directed by dietary services (low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, equipment, and utensils
- Monitor food temperatures and document in compliance with health department regulations
- Stock and rotate food supplies following FIFO (first in, first out) procedures
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and service during meal periods
- Adhere to all hospital food safety and infection control policies
