Job Summary

The Cook is responsible for preparation and assistance in service of all meals to clients, staff and guests within the organization.

Job Duties / Essential Functions

  • Follow weekly cycle menus and production worksheets while recording daily food preparation amounts and usages to include special diets.
  • Prepare hot and cold food working with a basic standardized recipe system.
  • Record daily food, refrigeration and dishwasher temperatures.
  • Assure overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
  • Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

  • HS Diploma or GED required OR 5 years of relatable life and/or work experience to be verified by references and/or employment verification.
  • Prior cooking experience, preferably in a high volume setting.
  • Must be at least years of age or older.
