Job Description

Our client is looking for a talented experienced cook or chef to work in the kitchen team at their stunning newly renovated one location restaurant, winery and hotel. Featuring 50 beautifully appointed spacious suites the resort also includes an original country Homestead built in 1887 that can sleep up to 12 guests. As well as an underground Cellar Door where guests can sample some the best wines from across the region, the property also has an onsite a la carte restaurant & wood-fired pizza oven as well as hosting conferencing and weddings.

 

Requirements

- Certificate IV with commercial cookery bias is required with at least 12 months of relevant experience within a busy commercial kitchen; at least three years of relevant may substitute for this formal qualification

 

You will need extensive knowledge and experience in

- Preparation, seasoning and cooking food to hygiene regulation

- Following recipes and operating kitchen equipment
