Job Description

About the Roles - We have multiple opportunities across our hospitality and housekeeping teams:

Cook

Prepare nutritious, delicious meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences. Maintain high hygiene standards and contribute to a positive dining experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare meals according to standard recipes and rotating menus, ensuring proper portion sizes, textures, nutrition, and service temperature.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen and ensure all equipment is clean and functional.
  • Support the Kitchen Team Leader in delivering quality food services and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure residents receive appetising and nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.

Support meal preparation, deliver meals to residents, maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with stock rotation and compliance documentation.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with meal and beverage preparation for all dining periods
  • Deliver meals to wings, rooms and dining areas, and collect trays after service
  • Support cooks and the Kitchen Team Leader with food preparation
  • Operate commercial and domestic dishwashers
  • Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils and insulated containers
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, storage areas and delivery vehicle

Create clean, safe and welcoming spaces for residents and visitors. Provide laundry services and ensure infection‑control standards are met.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across resident rooms, communal spaces and service areas
  • Follow infection‑control procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
  • Operate cleaning equipment safely and maintain equipment in good working order
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
  • Respond to resident requests with warmth, empathy and respect

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Strong organisational skills and excellent time management
  • Ability to work effectively in a flexible and supportive team environment
  • Experience in hospitality, housekeeping or aged care (desirable)
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment
  • Strong time‑management and attention to detail
  • Police Check
  • Relevant qualifications for Cook role (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
  • Above-Award wage rates.
