- Manages all coordination works for Civil, Structural, Architectural, and SWCs, and is responsible for managing project coordinators related to civil/structural, architectural, and E&M. Ensures all as-built drawings are duly submitted to the SO prior to submission of Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP).
- Monitor progress and performance of M&E works, identifying any deviations or issues and implementing corrective measures as required.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards for M&E systems.
- Interpretation of specifications, compliances, terms and conditions, drawings and any other relevant document including getting budget approval from the relevant.
- Involve in planning and technical co-ordination of M&E services installation work.
- Supervise and liaise closely with consultants, sub-contractors and site operation team to facilitate installation works on site.
- Coordination with the relevant authorities for design approval and work permission.
- Ensure adherence of construction procedures and Safe work practices to warrant that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship so as to meet the stringent requirements conducted during site tests and inspection.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years of experience in managing Civil & Structure, Architectural and/or E&M Building Services works for transit projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature of work. Experienced in managing interfaces and coordination works for design and construction of transit projects; having full understanding of the design and approval process as well as TFP/TOP process.
- Preferred to have an LTA/rail projects background.
- Good communication, written and analytical skills.
- Able to lead teams and work across different levels including managing vendors.
