Job Description

The Business Coordinator’s role is to design and support business processes related to the financial and business systems critical to the core Surgery Program functions and aligned with available information systems. This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. The Business Coordinator is involved in planning activity related to project management, budget forecasting, performance measurement, contract management and all case costing initiatives.

Key components of the position include the following: Use of a variety of internal/external databases and tools to extract information, reporting on key performance indicators related to all dimensions of quality and safety. Interpreting information gathered to assist colleagues in decision-making and quality improvement.
