The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane and has been selected to design construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.
Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. This Iconic Project has and will continue to create its own legacy in Australian history.
Purpose of the Role:
To develop, implement and improve the Snowy 2.0 project and handover management system for the current works.
Qualifications:
Tertiary Construction Management Qualifications or related disciplineWhite Card Experience:
A minimum of 6 years professional experience in the management of completion and handover on complex infrastructure projects.Senior level management experience working on large scale projects (Oil and Gas, Mining, Infrastructure)Expert experience and knowledge in multiple EDMS systems.Experience using completion systemsExperience in managing document and data handover. Required Competencies:
Quality management system audit qualificationUnderstanding ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirementsWorking knowledge of EDMS systemsSound problem-solving skillsStrong Initiative and proactive natureKey collaborative skillsStrong stakeholder management skills across different levelsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed time management skillsHigh attention to detailExceptional knowledge and ability in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Regular meetings are scheduled to coordinate completion activitiesCompletion progress is reported in the monthly Project reports when project reaches appropriate stageA Handover Documentation schedule is prepared and agreed with SHLArticulate the completion methodologyEnsure all documents required for handover are at As-Built StatusAsset handover requirements are documented and metProcesses are developed to manage Defect Correction Period (DCP)Construction Completion and handover requirements are outlinedFinal completion (post DCP) requirements are outlinedOperations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals are generated for handover to SHLThe timing and process for submission of documentation to SHL is documentedCompletion and submission of all Handover Documentation to SHLLiaise with the design team on design issues.Establishing a strong and open relationship with Principal Representative and IC representatives concerning matters of quality and compliance specifically regarding handover of the documents and Data.
