The Coordinator Partnerships and Programs is responsible for
leading a team to coordinate, plan and deliver programs designed to
provide support for local First Peoples in the City of Whittlesea,
to improve social and emotional wellbeing and connection to
community and culture – while operating within Local
Government’s remit and organisational systems.

The position leads the Partnerships and Programs team to deliver
on Council’s strategic actions and directions, including:

  • Coordinating and delivering strategic and culturally safe programming & activities at the Aboriginal Gathering Place and throughout the municipality
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Strategic management, operation and service delivery of the Aboriginal Gathering Place
  • Contributing to the implementation of the Aboriginal Act...
