Job Description

The primary focus of this position is to advance strategic priorities of the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine (MU School of Medicine) related workforce development and professional development and education, with specific duties related to the Workforce and Professional Development Coordinator (hereinafter “WPD Coordinator”). This position is responsible for supporting, planning, and coordinating organizational activities including policy formulation, management of daily operations, and resource stewardship consistent with business objectives. It may oversee or assist in procurement, human resources, communications, finance, general operations, and/or office support. Provides operational leadership; requires creativity, and interpretive abilities to effectively resolve complex problems.
