Prospero Teaching is looking for a nurturing and experienced SEN Specialist Tutor to support a KS1 student in Hounslow on a 1:1 basis. This student has a diagnosis of Autism (ASD) and requires tailored support in key developmental areas including literacy, speech and language, numeracy, social interaction, and SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health).


  • Deliver engaging, personalised sessions in early literacy, speech and language, and basic numeracy, aligned with the student’s developmental level.

  • Support social communication and interaction skills using visual aids, role-play, and real-life scenarios.

  • Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviours through nurturing, structured strategies.

  • Adapt teaching methods and materials in line with ASD best practices and any EHCP targets.

  • Work closely with parents/carers and professionals to ensure consistent, holistic support.
