Founding Software Engineer

Work location : London, UK (Onsite) - Company will sponsor Visa.

We are building AI voice agents to help trades businesses run smoother, scale faster, and deliver better customer experiences. As a Founding Software Engineer, you will not just build software—you will shape the way company works, interacts with customers, and grows.

What You'll Do

● Build and ship core product features across the stack, including Python, TypeScript, cloud infra, and event-driven systems.

● Own the lifecycle by working directly with customers to understand needs, scope solutions, and deliver outcomes.

● Move fast when it matters, knowing when to hack an MVP and when to invest in scalable foundations.

● Raise the bar by using best practices in testing, documentation, reliability, and security.

What You Bring

● Strong software engineering fundamentals to design, debug, and ship reliable systems.

● Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, or proof that you can learn what is needed.

● Experience building AI products end-to-end at a startup, on a side project, or at scale.

● Full-stack comfort, working across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

● Ability to work with stakeholders to scope, negotiate, and deliver solutions.

● A track record of drive, such as launching independent projects or contributing to open source.

Bonus Points:

● Early-stage startup experience in AI, voice platforms, or event-driven systems.

● Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure like Kubernetes or distributed systems.

● Evidence of customer empathy through founder or support experience.
