Reporting to: CFO

Devyani International Limited (DIL), one of India’s largest Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operators, is looking for a seasoned Business / Corporate Finance Controller to strengthen our financial governance and support strategic growth across India and international operations.

  • Role Overview

This is a leadership role responsible for driving financial controllership, group reporting, treasury operations, automation, tax and regulatory compliance, and internal controls across DIL and its subsidiaries. The role works closely with the CFO and senior leadership to ensure accuracy, transparency, and scalability of financial operations.

  • Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial reporting & consolidation in line with Ind-AS, Companies Act & SEBI norms
  2. Monthly, quarterly & annual book closure with high accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Stakeholder management with Board, Audit Committee, auditors, regulators & banks
  4. Oversight of statutory, internal, GST, TDS & tax audits (Big 4 exposure preferred)
  5. Revenue assurance, AR management & aggregator reconciliations
  6. Lease accounting & fixed asset management
  7. Treasury operations including cash flow forecasting, interest cost optimization & covenant compliance
  8. Driving ERP optimization, automation & digital finance transformation
  9. Strengthening MIS, internal financial controls (IFC), SOPs & governance frameworks
  10. Supporting budgeting, forecasting & strategic financial analysis
  • Qualifications & Experience

Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory

15–20 years of post-qualification experience in finance controllership / group reporting

Strong expertise in Ind-AS, taxation, SEBI & Companies Act compliance

Experience in listed, large or multinational organizations

Exposure to QSR, retail, consumer or manufacturing sectors preferred

Proven leadership experience managing large teams and transformation initiatives
