OVERVIEW



The Corporate Global Sr. Accountant will be a cross-functional role supporting the broader Accounting function of PSW Group's global operations. This position will report directly to the CFO and work cross-functionally with global regional accounting offices. This position is the conduit for providing valuable insights by supporting, verifying, analyzing and interpreting accounting and financial data. This role is responsible for confirming, auditing and reporting financial data, maintaining internal audit controls, and ensuring the accuracy of cost accounting practices and principles for PSW Group's accounting operations.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Maintain accurate general ledger records, journal entries, and financial documentation.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist with year-end closing procedures and audit preparations.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting and/or financial records in both digital and physical formats.
  • Support the implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure internal company procedures are followed consistently.
  • Ensure transactions are recorded in full compliance with company accounting standards.
  • Lead the global month-end closing process, and work with global teams for AP, AR, Bank Reconciliation accuracy.
  • Oversee the integrity of the balance sheets.
  • Manage internal controls related to accounting, identify control gaps, and enhance processes.
  • Address ad-hoc business requests related to global accounting processes.
  • Performing special projects and additional duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master's degree will be a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
  • Working experience and knowledge with GAAP, cost accounting principles and practices.
  • 3+ years of experience working in global accounting preferred.
  • Fluent in both in English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work across time zones as necessary and when required.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with a track record of driving financial growth.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact collaboratively and effectively with diverse team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, accounting and financial management software and tools; knowledge with ERP software will be a plus.
  • Need to be majored in Accounting (USA GAAP)
  • Manufactory accounting experience will be a plus

· Most of the time is spent in an office sitting outside of the production plant or warehouse center. The environment will include, at times, walking onto the plant production floor where there is weather and non-weather-related hot or humid conditions, extreme cold, working near moving mechanical parts or equipment.


· The noise level in the work environment is quiet in the office, but can be loud when on the production floor, warehouse or loading areas.


· Frequently required to sit.
