Corporate Tax Partner | Tampa, FL

A well-established and respected Florida law firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Partner to join its Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax attorney to lead a growing corporate tax practice, advise sophisticated clients, and potentially bring book of business.

What You’ll Do


• Advise corporate clients on federal, state, and local tax matters, including planning, compliance, and structuring transactions
• Lead tax due diligence and structuring for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures
• Provide strategic guidance on corporate reorganizations, financing, and entity selection
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and corporate documents with tax implications
• Manage client relationships and cultivate new business opportunities
• Mentor junior attorneys and oversee tax-related work within the firm
• Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations to provide proactive advice

What We’re Looking For


• J.D. from an accredited law school; LL.M. in Tax or equivalent experience is a plus
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing
• Significant experience in corporate tax, including transactional planning and compliance
• Experience handling high-level M&A, financing, or corporate restructuring matters
• Strong analytical, drafting, and client advisory skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to bring in and grow client relationships (book of business preferred)
