Job Description
The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
The Evening position would work solely in our medication room assisting with managing/performing pill passes (pill window and cell to cell). The shifts would be as follows:
Shift: five 8 hour shifts/week (40 hrs./week)- hours are from 1300-2130 . The schedule would be as follows...
Week 1 &3: M, Tu, W, Th, Sa
Week 2 & 4: Su, Tu, W, Th, F
Start Date: ASAP
Minimum Requirements:
+ Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
+ Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable ...
