Job Description

MISSION To perform the basic activities pertaining the Cost Control process, under the supervision of Cost Control Senior Engineer within a Project (or part thereof) of any size and complexity. To be accountable for the correct execution of the assigned duties, in compliance with Company’s quality requirements / standard methodology and procedures.   In particular, the Cost Control Junior Engineer, is in charge of:
  •    Familiarize with all the Cost Control and Company’s procedure for subsequent application and adherence  
  • Use of the Cost Control dedicated tools (i.e. Project Objects, Marian, SAP, etc) as per the assigned task;
  • Assist the Cost controller/Senior Cost Controller in the preparation of all the detailed cost data relevant to all the Project Phases and according to the assigned tasks in compliance with Cost Control Procedures and Contractual requirements
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Project Cost Control reports and the Corporate Budget/Revised budget such as:a. PSR (Project Status Report);b. Cost Control Report;c. Monthly prorated costs/revenues;d. Cash Flow;e. Site Cost Control Report.As a member of the Cost department, the duties of the Cost Control Junior Engineer are to:  
  •  provide feedback to the Responsible of cost control about problems/deviations arising from application of standard methods and work instructions and tools, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the department; 
  •  keep himself/herself up to date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline
