Purpose
The purpose of a Cost Controller is to manage and monitor project finances, ensuring projects stay within budget while providing accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role supports project decisionmaking through effective cost control, risk assessment, and financial forecasting.Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and overseeing the cost control processes of projects.Monitoring project budgets, forecasting future financial performance, analyzing variances, and ensuring that projects remain financially viable.Support project managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project cost control, financial analysis, or a similar role. Experience in Oil & Gas and large infrastructure industries preferred.Functional Competencies
