About the role

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a cost controller on our ASTI projects.

As a Cost Controller, you would reportdirectly to the senior finance manager, as well as interfacing with the Senior Finance Manager, Site Project Team, HR and Balfour Beatty Newcastle and widerfinance teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the project team with cost queries and gaining back-up/validation to costs
  • Supporting Commercial function by ensuring correct cost allocation and running of weekly costreports
  • Variance analysis of actual v forecast costs
  • Monitor and tracking of costs
  • Plus any other tasks to assist the Senior finance manager or project staff
  • Liaising with External: Suppliers and Contractors
  • Working with Clients stakeholders to facilitate audits monthly/quarterly provide samples ofcosts to enable audits and validation.
