COSTING ENGINEER

Job description

1. *Project Estimation & Costing*: - Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand the scope of electrical panel projects. - Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to gather accurate pricing for components like circuit breakers, relays, transformers, control devices, etc.2. *Tender & Proposal Preparation*: - Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding processes.DivisionElectrical/ Electronics- Work closely with the sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative solutions that meet the client's needs and budget.3. *Coordination with Engineering & Procurement*: - Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to confirm technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards. - Work with the procurement department to validate supplier quotes and secure the best possible prices.4. *Client Interactions*: - Participate in meetings with clients to clarify project requirements and present estimation reports. - Address client inquiries regarding cost breakdowns and estimation methodology.6. *Documentation & Reporting*: - Maintain records of all estimates, quotes, and revisions. - Provide regular reports on estimation activities and cost analysis to senior management.
