Costing & Pricing Consultant

Overview

On behalf of my clients who operate in the Australian Defence space, I am currently looking for an experienced Cost & Pricing Consultant who has a strong background in cost modelling gained in Defence or other Federal Government sectors.

You will join a leading consulting firm and will be responsible for supporting Defence acquisition and sustainment programs by providing cost modelling, procurement and commercial advice. You will work closely with Defence stakeholders and industry to support informed decision making across complex programs. This role is initially being offered as a 6-month contract role with a 12-month extension option and will be based from client\'s site in Canberra.

Candidates MUST hold a current security clearance of NV1 or above to be considered for this role.

Compensation

Base pay range: A$130.00/hr - A$140.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Deliver cost modelling aligned to Defence acquisition and sustainment activities
• Support procurement strategies, tender development and contract management
• Contribute to evaluation activities including TEWGs and Source Evaluation Reports
• Ensure probity, compliance and alignment with Commonwealth procurement frameworks
• Mentor ADO personnel and junior consultants

About you

• Experience in cost modelling, financial analysis or commercial advisory within Defence or Government
• Strong understanding of Commonwealth procurement and contracting processes
• Experience working across multiple priorities in a delivery focused environment
• NV1 or above clearance is MANDATORY
• MUST be Canberra based
