New Directions is working with secondary schools in Harrogate looking for a cover supervisor to join their team on a part-time basis.

Cover Supervisor Role:
• Supervise students during short-term teacher absences
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure student engagement
• Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment
• Offer guidance and support to students as needed
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure seamless lesson transitions

Cover supervisor requirements:
• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor
• A confident and approachable demeanour
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
