New Directions Education is recruiting a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work across a secondary school in South Manchester. This role is to start as soon as possible, continuing until the end of the school year.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged with pre-prepared lessons across all subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across subjects
  • Maintain a positive and focused learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support pupils with their learning where possible
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff after lessons
