Academics are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in Southampton for a dynamic Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time Cover Supervisor opportunity in Southampton runs Monday to Friday during school hours and has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and provide short-term cover during teacher absence. You'll use your classroom management skills to keep students engaged, ensure learning continues smoothly, and support the wider faculty when required.
You will be expected to:
Deliver set lesson content across a range of subjects as a Cover Supervisor
Maintain a focused, positive learning environment
Provide appropriate support to students to help them achieve lesson objectives
