Position Title: CPFR Planner


Reports to: Customer Supply Chain Manager
Department: Demand Planning / Supply Chain

Summary


Responsible for collaborating with Chedraui and La Comer through the CPFR model, leveraging data analysis and KPI results (Fill Rate, Days on Hand, In Stock). Applies CPFR methodology to maintain logistics indicators on target, increase sales, and create a more efficient value chain process. Ensures customer requirements and demand are linked to Hershey’s Supply Chain in a timely manner, aligned with commercial promotional activities and calendar.

Major Duties and Responsibilities


  • Coordinate replenishment proposals (30%)
    Integrate CPFR KPIs, marketing strategies, promotional calendars, modular execution, sell-in/outs, innovation, seasonal changes, and discontinuations to ensure effective inventory flow from Hershey warehouses to customer POS.




  • Align HSY forecast with commercial strategy (20%)
    Ensure alignment with customer objectives and lead accountability for 906030 meetings with replenishment and commercial teams.




  • Optimize replenishment plans (15%)
    Manage inventory overrides, demand cannibalization, store-level inventories, lead times, ordering policies, and storage requirements. Balance pull vs. push concepts to reduce overstock and out-of-stock conditions.




  • Identify and resolve discrepancies (15%)
    Communicate short-term replenishment and forecast gaps, collaborating with Demand Planning and Customer Service to resolve order fulfillment challenges.




  • Relationship management and reporting (20%)
    Act as face-to-face representative of Hershey Customer Supply Team with customer replenishment and category management teams. Generate reports on replenishment, DOH, sell-in, sell-out, and in-stock performance. Suggest replenishment setting changes and communicate actions taken.

    • Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong business acumen in CPG industry

  • Adaptability in dynamic environments

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics Information Systems, and Sales

  • Ability to build strategic relationships across organizational levels

  • Experience with retail partner systems (Retail Link, Toolbox, Portal de Proveedores)

  • Expertise in CPFR processes within CPG industry

  • Ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve revenue, service levels, and logistics efficiency

  • Understanding of internal and external order fulfillment processes

  • Proficiency in supply chain management concepts and order processing systems

  • APICS or similar certification preferred (CPF, CPIM, CSCM)

  • Advanced database skills (Excel, Access)

    • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing, Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in CPFR, forecasting methods, and statistical analysis with understanding of financial and operational impacts

  • Knowledge of Soriana processes preferred
