SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

  • Crane Operator for the Port Hedland Depot 
  • FIFO to Port Hedland, Western Australia

    • Mammoet's Port Hedland Depot are seeking experienced CO operators to join their crew! As a Crane Operator with Mammoet you will be required to support with general taxi hire, adhoc and shutdown mine maintenance across a range of sites in the Pilbara. 

    These roles are full-time with the option of either a 3:1, 4:1 or 6:2 roster FIFO from any capital city in Australia. 


    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Mobilization and demobilization of the assigned crane in relevant configuration
  • Operating the crane in line with work standards and instructions
  • Positioning and repositioning the load
  • Performing periodic preventative and routine maintenance
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and effectively

    • WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Minimum 12 months open crane and hydraulic experience 
  • Experience with shutdowns & Taxi hire
  • High risk license - CO & RA/RI
  • VALID Australian HR driver’s license minimum 
  • Working at heights (within 2 years)
  • Police clearance (within 12 months)
