Crane operator

Overview

We are currently looking for a Crane Operator to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various kinds of cranes, hoists and aerial platforms in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and lift heavy materials.
• Maneuver crane into position over objects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and technical manuals.
• Inspect cables, ropes and pulleys for wear or damage.
• Check load weight against capacity charts.
• Operate hand controls to move crane up/down or side-to-side.
• Carry out routine maintenance on the crane equipment.
• Operate under varying weather conditions such as rain or snow.
• Secure loads with straps, chains or other binding materials.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience as a crane operator, preferably in the construction industry.
