About the Role
We are looking for a talented Visual Content Specialist to join the in-house marketing team at GMT Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for how our brand looks to the world. You will take charge of visual storytelling—from capturing high-quality video and photos of our industrial machines in the warehouse to designing engaging creatives for social media.
This is a hands-on creative role. You won’t just be editing at a desk; you will be on the floor filming machinery, setting up lighting for product shoots, and creating the visual assets that drive our marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production (Shooting & Editing)
Filming: Execute video shoots for machine demonstrations, customer success stories, and corporate events.
Post-Production: Edit high-quality videos for You Tube, Linked In, and Instagram. This includes color correction, audio syncing, and assembling raw footage into polished narratives.
Motion Graphics: Create engaging intros, lower-thirds, and text overlays to make technical content accessible and exciting.
2. Industrial & Product Photography
Machine Photography: Conduct product shoots of GMT’s inventory at the warehouse. You must be able to light and photograph large industrial equipment to look professional and sleek.
Event & Corporate: Handle photography for internal team events, award ceremonies, and employee headshots.
Editing: Retouch and color-grade photos using Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop to ensure machinery looks pristine (removing dust, adjusting reflections, etc.).
3. Graphic Design & Social Media
Social Creatives: Design static posts, carousels, and stories for Linked In and Instagram using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Marketing Collateral: Assist in designing brochures, flyers, and event banners as per brand guidelines.
You Tube Assets: Design high-CTR (Click Through Rate) thumbnails for our video content.

Design Suite: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Camera Skills: Experience operating DSLR/Mirrorless cameras for both video and photo.
Lighting Knowledge: Understanding of 3-point lighting and how to light reflective surfaces (metal/machinery) is a huge plus.
Self-Starter: Ability to work independently in a warehouse environment to stage and shoot products.

Candidates who have AUTO CAD skills would be preferred- so they can assist with designing cuts for our laser machines
Basic sound design/audio mixing skills.
Figma design/Landing page design
Educational qualifications:
Candidates who have a bachelors in visual communication or any certifications on graphic design will be preferred
