What You'll Do:

The Creative team plays a critical role in shaping impactful on-site retail media experiences for Criteo’s commerce and retail partners. As a Retail Media Creative Designer, you will focus on designing high-quality, performance-driven creatives for retailer platforms and ecommerce environments. Your work will directly influence shopper engagement and conversion across the purchase funnel.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, while leveraging data, insights, and emerging AI tools to continuously improve creative effectiveness and workflow efficiency.
This role is based in Gurgaon, India, supporting the AMER region.

  • Design and deliver retail media creatives including:

  • On-site display banners and Offsite Banners

  • Sponsored product and brand creatives

  • Homepage, category, and search placements• Create visually compelling, conversion-focused designs aligned with retailer specifications and brand guidelines.

  • Adapt master creatives into multiple formats and sizes for different retail environments and placements.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation of retail media campaigns.

  • Translate performance insights and client objectives into effective creative solutions.

  • Manage multiple requests efficiently while meeting Creative OLAs and prioritization levels.

  • Use Jira for task management, tracking, and communication.

  • Apply AI-based creative tools and prompt-driven workflows to generate variations, optimize assets, and improve efficiency.

  • Ensure high creative quality through thorough quality checks and adherence to platform requirements.

  • Stay up to date with retail media trends, ecommerce design best practices, and evolving ad formats.

  • Contribute to process optimization and creative best practices within the team.

  • This role is based in Gurgaon and shift timings are 6:30 pm to 3:30 am.

    Who You Are:

  • Degree/diploma in Art, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in digital or ecommerce-focused design (Portfolio required).

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Suite and Figma

  • Solid understanding of ecommerce, retail media, and shopper-centric design principles.

  • Strong eye for layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and conversion-focused design.

  • Experience working in a high-volume, production-oriented environment with tight timelines.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Fluent in English with clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with retailer ad specifications and on-site placements is a strong plus.

  • Knowledge of AI creative tools and prompt-based workflows is an advantage.

  • Basic understanding of UI/UX & HTML/CSS and dynamic creative concepts is desirable.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with a strong interest in retail, ecommerce, and digital advertising.
