Job Title - Creative Director (Pune, India)

Shift schedule - 3 PM - 12 AM Onsite role

Role Overview

We're seeking a Creative Director based in Pune, India to oversee and elevate Unbound IA's creative output-both for Unbound IA's own brand and marketing content, and for our global client base.

This role is focused on upholding, operationalising, and consistently delivering against Unbound IA's creative vision and brand standards. You will ensure every piece of creative work meets a high bar for craft, clarity, and impact, while supporting the delivery of award-winning B2B creative for our clients.

You will lead creative teams across all levels and disciplines, including design, motion, UX, copy, and production, acting as a creative authority and quality gatekeeper.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Stewardship & Creative Quality

• Act as a guardian of the Unbound IA brand, ensuring all internal marketing and external-facing content is consistent, high-quality, and aligned to established brand standards.

• Oversee the creative execution of Unbound IA's own marketing content across web, campaigns, thought leadership, social, and sales enablement.

• Ensure client creative work aligns with Unbound IA's creative principles while meeting each client's brand and commercial objectives.

• Maintain a consistently high bar for creative craft, attention to detail, and production quality across all outputs.

Creative Direction & Delivery

• Direct and review creative work across disciplines, ensuring concepts are translated into clear, high-quality execution.

• Provide hands-on creative guidance across design, motion, UX/UI, copywriting, and artworking.

• Ensure work is scalable, production-ready, and effective across channels and formats.

• Uphold best practices in creative delivery while continuously raising standards.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and manage experienced creative teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and creative excellence.

• Set clear expectations around quality, craft, and delivery, and hold teams accountable for outcomes.

• Support the development of the creative team through coaching, feedback, and structured growth plans

• Ensure teams are appropriately resourced and supported to deliver consistently at a high level.

Client Partnership & Creative Excellence

• Partner with client-facing teams to deliver standout creative work.

• Confidently present and defend creative work to the Chief Creative Officer, clearly articulating rationale and executional decisions.

• Encourage ambitious thinking while ensuring work remains aligned to scope, timelines, and budgets.

• Support the creation of award-worthy creative that strengthens Unbound IA's reputation in the B2B market.

Operational Excellence

• Establish and maintain clear creative processes, review checkpoints, and quality controls.

• Partner with project management and operations to ensure efficient, predictable delivery at scale.

• Support planning, prioritisation, and resourcing across multiple accounts and initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading creative teams in an agency or high-growth environment.

• Proven experience overseeing brand and marketing content for both agency and client brands.

• Broad, hands-on understanding of brand building, design, motion, UX/UI, and production.

• Strong eye for detail and craft, with the ability to elevate work through clear direction and feedback.

• Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Commercially aware, with the ability to balance creative excellence with delivery realities.
