Job Description
We are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager, Creative Operations – Workfront Lead to work
closely with our global operations, accounts and PMO team, as well as MarTech and other
global marketing constituents as the owner, driver and steward of our creative team’s use of
Workfront and its integration with people, processes and other tools in the tech stack.
This role will report to the Associate Director, PMO and Creative Operations and will work
strategically across the team to support a wide range of intersecting operational efforts on
behalf of creative planning, execution, reporting and operational refinement.
As the lead for Workfront within the creative organization, this person will own the maintenance
of our documented processes, the way they are set up and run in Workfront (portfolios,
accounts, teams, roles, templates, workflows, etc.), hold the seat for the creative team on our
Workfront governance council, and consult across Global Marketing when new teams onboard
in the tool.
This position is both an individual contributor and a leadership collaborator. It has no immediate
supervisory responsibilities but provides guidance in specialized areas to other associates, and
to less experienced members of the work group.
Key Responsibilities:
As the lead for the largest group in Workfront at Cognizant, you are responsible for
higher order system stewardship and properties affecting the global user
base—especially regarding upgrades and cross system integration (e.g., DAM)
Support system utilization and stability through active governance, functionality
improvements and streamlining, and user engagement including through reporting and
system/process optimization, training and troubleshooting.
Provide technical subject matter expertise and business process knowledge to team
members in Workfront—from creatives to managers to business leaders
Support, and proactively communicate the rollout of new system functionality, features,
or process changes
Work as a key contributor and co-owner of Fusion workflows: design, pilot, learn, adjust,
implement
Represent Workfront and formal process flows as a guiding member of the GBC
Integrated Operations team
Conduct regular audits on system utilization and data to increase data and reporting
quality, resolve inconsistencies and correct workflow and/or system integration
processes.
Conduct monthly governance, and office-hour working sessions with key stakeholders.
Requirements
7-10 years of experience
Expert level familiarity with Adobe Workfront
5+ years of experience in creative operations in-house or in an agency setting
Deep familiarity with in-house creative team processes with cross functional experience
from design to video to web to social and many things in between.
Well-versed with integrated marketing approaches employing multiple digital channels
Familiarity with creative account, program, project and resource management practices
Good knowledge of marketing tactics and best practices
Self-starter and highly focused on execution with good presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferences
Certifications or formal Adobe-sponsored coursework is appreciated
Hunger to make a difference, be heard and have their work be recognized
Familiarity with web and digital marketing, working with external agencies to develop
marketing assets
Ability to think “outside the box"
