An exciting opportunity has been created for a Credit Analyst to join a rapidly growing alternative investment manager operating across private credit and structured finance. This role sits within the core investment team and offers broad exposure to complex transactions, senior stakeholders, and the full deal lifecycle.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior credit structuring leadership, portfolio managers, and execution teams, this role plays a key part in evaluating and structuring corporate lending and structured finance transactions. You'll be involved from initial analysis through to investment committee approval, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse range of asset classes and deal structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse the financial health, performance, and risk profile of corporate borrowers
  • Build and review detailed financial and cash flow models to support lending and structured finance transactions
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess different deal structures
  • Analyse asset-backed and structured finance instruments
  • Perform due diligence on credit transactions and prepare investment committee materials
  • Work with large datasets and loan-level data to support transaction analysis
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio management, execution, and other internal stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Must have experience to credit analysis in a corporate lending, or structured finance environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate financial statements, cash flow analysis, and credit risk
  • Experience building financial models and performing scenario analysis
  • Ability to analyse large datasets and loan-level information
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, particularly for credit papers and internal presentations
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities
