Credit Approvals/Authorization Officer

Overview

We're helping a top Canadian bank fill a brand new back-office Credit Data/Approvals Officer, added this year because of growth. The position will join a team of four that reviews commercial credit approvals, ensures alignment with internal parameters, and translates these approvals into the company's data models.

Responsibilities

• Review commercial credit approvals and ensure alignment with internal parameters.
• Translate approvals into the company's data models.
• Collaborate with a team of four in the back-office to support credit operations.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in credit, ideally back office: credit operations, credit review, credit adjudication, etc.
• Understanding of commercial lending products, letters of credit, etc.
• Ability to work three days per week in the company's downtown Montreal office.
• Nice to have: French fluency
