The department is seeking an instructor with the ability to teach the following course:

Name of the Course: Introduction to Funeral Service (online)

  • March 9 - 18, 2026 (online) overall course dates
  • Includes 4 mandatory virtual discussions held 7:30 - 9:00 pm on March 10, 12, 15 & 17, 2026



    • Course Description: This course will provide you with an introduction to the funeral service profession. It will introduce you to roles and responsibilities of funeral professionals. Topics including the history of funeral service, burial and cremation, purpose and value of the funeral service, and licensing requirements in Alberta will be explored.
