Credit Manager An established banking group are now seeking an experienced Credit Manager to join Credit team within Risk Management. This is a key second-line role, supporting robust credit assessment, underwriting, and the effective co-management of credit risk across the C&B portfolio in Northern Ireland and the wider UK. This is a brand new, full-time permanent position to be based in their Belfast office with a hybrid working structure. The Role: As Credit Manager, you will play a central role in credit risk assessment, portfolio oversight, and process improvement. Key responsibilities include: Conducting second-line credit assessment and underwriting in line with Group Credit Policy and risk appetite Exercising Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) to support ongoing business growth Assessing credit applications for financial, structural, ESG, geopolitical, security and energy risks Supporting customers in financial difficulty, where required Enhancing the sourcing, quality, and use ...
