he Credit Underwriter / Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished individual, looking to join a fast-paced company that aims to shake up the industry. A typical day of a Credit Underwriter would include:


  • Reviewing the queue of referred applications to determine next actions
  • Analysing data to understand if there are any gaps that need to be understood on the application
  • Communicating with customer via email, chat or phone
  • Underwriting loans within delegated authority
  • Assisting the wider team with testing, decision engine management etc.
  • Assisting with projects / developing processes, policies etc.
  • Processing mortgage servicing and variations requests
  • Making sound and high quality recommendations to management on complex and/or high value deals
  • Assisting colleagues and less experienced staff through sharing knowledge and coaching
  • Providing customer feedback and utilising your vast industry experience to help shape future product and strategy decisions

  • An experienced underwriter who is looking to challenge themselves with a new take on mortgages
  • Interested in fin-techs, start-ups, scale-ups, UX, and all things digital
  • Is a strong and efficient communicator with proven experience to negotiate and adapt style under pressure
  • A proactive problem solver and process improvement advocate
  • Has incredible attention to detail with a desire to deeply understand customer needs and apply sound judgement
  • High energy, enthusiastic and outstanding ability to adapt to change
  • Has experience working with decision engines (desired)
  • Willing to change the status quo and find new ways of doing things
