Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to join the Cardiology Ward 15 team in a fixed term capacity
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
The Critical Care Registered Nurse is an experience clinician accountable for the delivery of quality patient care and outcomes in a manner consistent with the professional code of conduct, legal requirements and organisational policies and procedures, within a framework of continuous quality improvement, and economic resource utilisation. The Grade 2 Registered Nurse or Midwife will work within scope of practice guidelines.
This is a Fixed Term contract, covering a Maternity Leave ending August 2026.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Post Graduate qualification in Critical Care - Coronary Care
- Ability to commit to 7-day rotating roster (including Night Duty)
- Proven ability to manage complex patients in a critical care setting
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
