Cross-Organizational Migration Director

Role: Program Manager (Migration Program)

Candidate will independently lead cross-organization data Migration program, influencing the Migration priorities and technical direction across the organization and own communication of all aspects of the data migration program including surfacing risks, its mitigation and progress towards the goal. Candidate will guide the team towards technical solutions and make trade-off decisions

The role requires closely working with multiple functional teams (including but not limited to Business, Architects, Engineering, Operation support etc ) in building and maintaining migration delivery timelines, unblocking teams, defining, and streamlining cross-functional dependencies along with timely completion of the program. Candidate should be ready to work from Japan on need basis.

Skills and Qualification

• Upto 15-20 years of hands-on technical project/program management experience
• English and Japanese speaking (bilingual communication) skills are essential
• Must have Telecom Background with exposure on working with Telcom operators / ISP ( B2B, B2C customer solutions) in data migration program for at least 5+ years in BSS domain.
• BSS Domain expertise (Implementation) in one or more of the following is required
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Product Catalog & Offer Management
• Order Management & Fulfillment
• Billing & Charging (Prepaid/Postpaid)
• Revenue Management & Assurance
• Payment Gateway Integration
• Familiarity in the following Technology and tools are required
• Data Migration Strategy & Execution (ETL, Data Mapping, Cleansing)
• Migration Solution Architecture & Design Principles
• Integration Technologies (APIs, ESBs, Messaging Queues)
• Cloud-Native BSS (AWS, Azure, GCP - if applicable)
• Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint
• Database solution (Oracle, MySQL, Couchbase, Elastic DB, Camunda etc ) ,Data streaming technologies ( such as Kafka)
