I wanted to briefly share an overview of a crypto analytics project I'm currently building, to see if this aligns with your experience.
The core idea is to develop a crypto pattern detection engine that scans Binance, KuCoin, and Coinbase USDT pairs across multiple timeframes (such as 1H, 4H, and 1D). The focus is on detecting classical chart patterns (triangles, wedges, head & shoulders, double tops/bottoms, etc.).
What's important for me is that patterns are detected geometrically — meaning the system should draw the actual pattern structures on the chart, not just label a pattern name based on rules. Once a pattern is confirmed, the engine should:
Log the entry/breakout point
Track post-signal performance (max price reached, PnL)
Avoid duplicate or overlapping patterns
Reduce noise using filters like RSI, volume behavior, and overall BTC market direction
The goal is to make the output clean, actionable, and reliable, rathe...
