Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding shipment status, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Provide timely updates and proactive communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with sales and account management teams to align logistics with client expectations.
Operations
- Oversee import and export operations including booking, scheduling, and tracking shipments.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of shipping documents (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin).
- Monitor and manage customs clearance processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to resolve delays or discrepancies.
