| To plan and manage Civil Engineering related activities for chemical segment of AIL including responsibilities of developing technical specifications/ standards for design, estimation and finalization of scope of work in consultation with project/operations teams as well as engineering consultants, evaluations of technical offers, closing the deviations and preparing technical bid analysis , preperation/review of design and drawings submitted by detail engineering consultant and ensure compliance to applicable codes, highest quality and safety standards are met for timely completions of the assignments. | |||||

| Responsible for design & engineering related activities of Concrete Structures and foundations and General civil work . Responsible for preperation & implementation of design basis, standards, specifications and guidelines for civil engineering related activity for Projects and operation work . Responsible for finalising FEED data for detail engineering , internal layout, levels and elevations , selection for specific material for constructions etc Finalization of scope of work and deliverables in consultation with project/operations teams and detail engineering consultants Preperation of Need-List from other engineering disciplines and sub-contractors for carrying out design and analysis. Preperation of load data list , calculation of load and feeding details to design software for analysis and design and detail engineering of various type of RCC structures and foundations. Should possess general understanding of different soil types and recommended foundation types. Estimation of quantities for proposal evaluation of FEED engineering Carry out FEM analysis and review similar submitted deliverables. Apply knowledge of constructability, construction sequence and saftey hazards while finalizing design/drawings Apply knowledge of lesson learned and best practices and record the same. Innovate and derive cost-effective solutions in design. Check design adequacies of existing structures and from submission of detail engineering consultants with respect to safety, quality & reliability. Explore Value engineering options during the design review of consultant and vendor drawings and deliverables. Skilled in monitoring project progress on all aspects including project control and construction co-ordination activities with key focus on timely completion and cost control. Providing guidance to team in day to day work , facilitate training and technology transfer for smooth project operation. Perform dynamic analysis for structures and foundations and ensure detailing as per relevant codal provisions , statutory guidelines and AMS. Assist team for conducting structural health survey and structural restoration and retrofitting work from engineering stand point of view. Regular interaction with all stake holders , projects & engineering team , detail engineering consultants to meet project-specific requirements with SOP's and systems with timely delivery Demostrate "safety first" behaviour to ensure "zero safety incidents" | |||||

| Experience | Minimum 8 yrs 1.Candidate with good exposure to relevant IS Codes /American /equivalent design codes & standards, working with / has worked with reputed detail engineering consultants or having extensive exposure of coordination with reputed Detail engineering consultants. 2.Expertise in conducting structural analysis, design and detailing of various types of RCC structures including Plant buildings, tank foundations, equipment foundations, piperacks, supports, water retaining structures and process structures as per latest design codes and standards. 3. Expertise in FEM analysis, Raft foundation, Pile foundation and different types of foundations. 4. Conversant with Composite structures and Precast structures | ||||

| Certifications/Trainings | Exposure to STAAD.Pro compulsory. Exposure to 3d modelling software such as SP3D/ SPR / Tekla is desirable. Exposure to SAFE / RISA / ETAB / SAP2000 is added advantage. | ||||
