  • Manage the full import life cycle of shipments (Air, Ocean, LCL/FCL), from pre-alert to final delivery.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Serve as the key point of contact for a portfolio of import clients, addressing inquiries, quotes, and issue resolution promptly and professionally.
  • Anticipate and resolve any logistical problems that arise during transit (e.g., Customs holds, vessel delays, demurrage charges) with minimal client impact.
  • Handle all customer invoicing and billing inquiries, ensuring accuracy and liaising with the Accounting department on collection or payment issues.
  • Actively work to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships that encourage repeat business.
  • Prepare, process, and accurately check all essential documentation, including Bills of Lading (B/L), Arrival Notices, Delivery Orders, and Customs clearance paperwork.
