A healthcare facility in the Charlotte, NC area is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a contract position specializing in advanced imaging services. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will contribute to patient care by performing CT exams for a diverse patient population including emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and observation cases.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT required
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT imaging experience; first-time travelers will be considered
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Proven experience with GE CT scanners, particularly the GE Revolution Apex model
  • Ability to perform routine and STAT CT exams, prioritizing based on patient acuity including code strokes
  • Skilled in post-processing imaging exams
  • Experience with EPIC EMR and Radiant RIS preferred

Schedule & Hours:

  • 12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Holiday shifts will be included as scheduled

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct CT imaging for emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and observation patients with accuracy and professionalism
  • Coordinate and prioritize imaging exams based on urgency and patient condition
  • Utilize advanced imaging technology and contrast injectors effectively
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain quality standards
  • Complete administrative onboarding and department-specific training
